Apple + Microsoft. Both go in, one comes out? Will both win Verizon’s heart?

After the news about Apple iPhone moving on up to Verizon. The proverbial s&*T hits the Wall Street Journal shredder asserting that the guys in Microsoft are also in talks with America’s largest carrier. But we know about rumors: Microsoft has been the center of rumors regarding Project Pink (a Zune-like smartphone codenamed “Pink” that could be announced early next year). But not much has materialized on that end. Only that the said handset in a touchscreen-based multimedia will be utilizing the Windows Mobile OS as well as being able to add new software capabilities. Plus, the smartphone will be possibly made by third-party manufacturers instead of what was thought earlier about Microsoft creating this beast.
